Background

I have over 14 years of experience in robotics (YASKAWA), spanning multiple departments across the product lifecycle—from engineering and application work to product strategy. I have worked in both technical and cross-functional roles and previously held a leadership position as Manager of Product Management Robotics for the EMEA region.

My academic background is in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on control systems, and I hold a PhD in Technical Cybernetics. I’m particularly interested in turning advanced capabilities into systems that are robust, testable, and deployable in real industrial settings.

What I focus on

  • Perception-driven robotic applications under real-world constraints
  • Task interpretation layers that remain bounded by robot capabilities
  • Simulation-first development and validation of failure modes
  • System integration and interfaces typical for industrial automation
